About Savage Communications
Savage Communications was founded by senior PR practitioner, Kerry Savage (MCIPR, MCIM). She is an accredited trainer for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Prior to becoming a trainer, Kerry worked at some of the UK's most successful PR agencies, including Freud Communications, Burson Marsteller and Hill & Knowlton, as well as working in-house for Selfridges. Her expertise spans a broad range of industry fields (both consumer and corporate), such as technology, food & drink, fashion, healthcare, entertainment, IT, travel and personal finance. Clients have included Kellogg’s, P&G, American Express, Channel 4 and Levi’s.
Today, Kerry runs training courses at a number of levels, catering for everyone from PR agency teams to marketing departments of international companies. Recent clients include Capgemini, Porter Novelli, Toni & Guy and Cohn & Wolfe. She is also the founder of sister company, Savage Writing, helping business people to write better.
Kerry also delivered the PR module for the Diploma in Journalism at Birkbeck College and frequently runs training programmes for Business Link. She is a regular on the public speaking circuit, having given presentations on the ’The Power of PR’ at Olympia, the Business Design Centre and Earl’s Court, amongst others.
As well as being a seasoned PR professional, Kerry is an inspirational and dynamic coach, who is passionate about helping others succeed. She has a certificate in life coaching and is an NLP practitioner.
