ABOUT THE TRAINING
I'm looking forward to seeing you for the Managing Virtual Teams workshop.
In the virtual setting, it can be harder than ever to foster a culture of initiative and proactivity, where everyone is stepping up and taking ownership. But it's important that every single person understands the vital role they play in the business and is clear on how to deliver against those expectations.
This workshop shows how to lead teams to deliver to a consistently excellent standard, while working remotely.
Build an environment of ‘responsible initiative’
Challenge others to overstep; provide space for them to go above and beyond
Understand how and when to step up and let go, and how to brief colleagues according to their competence and maturity
Appreciate the difference between dependency, counter-dependency, independency and interdependency
Get to grips with the ‘high challenge-high support’ principles and identify your own underlying beliefs as a manager / leader
Be clear on your rights and responsibilities as a leader
Prioritise your time to focus on what really matters strategically
To get us in good shape for the session, please could you complete the pre-work below.
See you in a few weeks!
Looking at the outline above, please answer the following.
What is the most important thing you’d the training to deliver for you?

Please send your questions to Lynne by Thursday 4 March.

Thank you again for the management training. It was an informative day with lots learnt and a real insight into things I usually take for granted. I have no doubt I'll be using all the things you taught us.
