ABOUT THE TRAINING
I'm looking forward to seeing you for Virtual Presentation Skills training.
This presentation skills training has been designed to help you present in an engaging, persuasive way in virtual client meetings, presentations and pitches.
The training will give you the skills to find your authoritative voice in a virtual setting
You will gain skills to bring Zoom/Teams presentations to life creatively
You will learn how to establish executive presence and deal with challenging situations, confidently and assertively.

Know how to chair virtual meetings and presentations
Understand meeting rituals and your role
Master the art of intelligent small talk and powerful questions
Use the full Zoom/Teams functionality and other platforms, such as Mentimeter and Jamboard, to demonstrate creativity and engage with the audience
Consider your appearance and environment
Bring focus, energy and impact
Influence & Persuasion
Use persuasive, influencer language to grow accounts organically
Communicate with gravitas and authority whatever your seniority
Consider different client motivators and needs
Sell the ‘why’ not the ‘what’
Build an irrefutable business case using the NOSE model: Needs, Outcomes, Solutions, Evidence
Demonstrate expertise and make well-researched points strongly, backed up with data and proof points
Find your voice with more extraverted or senior clients
Think on your feet and handle difficult questions
Pre-empt objections and resistance, building them into the recommendations
Maintain a strong physical presence
Stay present and demonstrate active listening
Get grounded and find your authentic self
Be proud of the value you bring; know your leverage

Please read the following scenario. You will be asked to deliver this mini-presentation to the group, so that we can provide you with live feedback. It’s vital that you prepare well.
You are meeting a client [choose real client and job title e.g. Prince's Trust, comms director], for the first time. They ask you to introduce yourself. You have 2-3 mins to explain your role at the agency, giving specific examples of relevant projects with metrics, previous experience and interests. Bring your unique personality. It’s important that you sound relaxed and conversational. You’re not allowed to read from a script.

Isobel Camier (MCIPR) is a senior communications professional and PR trainer. She has been in the industry for over 15 years, working both agency-side and as Head of Communications for Williams F1.
Today, Isobel delivers bespoke PR workshops to agencies, corporate businesses, individuals and charities. Her talent is in tailoring training sessions to clients' specific objectives. Her training style is known for being energetic and engaging.
She has the privilege of being an accredited trainer for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, where she runs training on a range of topics.
