The importance of quality feedback cannot be understated. From a people perspective, it builds trust, grows confidence and drives motivation. From a business point of view, it supports staff retention, improves performance and prevents costly mistakes.

Our aim is to create an everyday feedback culture at firstlight – one where people are unafraid to have regular, in the moment performance conversations with colleagues up and down the agency. 

SESSION 1:

Debunk myths and understand the neuroscience
Diffuse the awkwardness around feedback conversations
Explore how to create psychological safety by inviting feedback
Discuss how to receive feedback with a growth mindset

SESSION 2:

Learn practical techniques for how and when to give feedback
Know how to structure feedback
Choose the right language and tone
Agree ways to maintain a long-term feedback culture and monitor success

KERRY SAVAGE

A highly experienced leadership coach, facilitator and communications expert, Kerry Savage is the director of Savage Communications Limited.

Kerry delivers leadership development and executive coaching to a range of clients, from marketing agencies to high profile organisations, such as McDonald’s, F1, the FCA and Christian Louboutin.

She is a senior coach practitioner, certified by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), and a member of the Association for Coaching (AC). She holds a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching from Henley Business School. She is also trained in team coaching and NLP. She is accredited in the award-winning Liberating Leadership programme and is a licensed Insights Discovery practitioner.

She previously worked at some of the UK's most successful communications consultancies, including Freud Communications, Burson-Marsteller and Hill & Knowlton, as well as working in-house for Selfridges.
