How would you explain what Greenhouse does, in the context of their business and the marketing director’s interests?
How would you introduce yourself, including your role on the account and relevant experience, in a way that sounds authentic and conversational?

To get you ready for the workshop, please prepare a short presentation. You’ll be receiving feedback from the group, so it’s vital you prepare well.
You are meeting a senior client [choose real company and job title e.g. Canon, Marketing Director], for the first time. By way of introduction, you have 3 mins to explain your role at the agency, tailoring your response to this particular client’s needs and interests. Provide specific examples of relevant projects and experience. Bring your unique personality. It’s important that you sound relaxed and conversational. You’re not allowed to read from a script.

ABOUT KERRY SAVAGE
Kerry Savage has been teaching presentation skills for the last 14 years. She is a respected trainer with an impressive client list, including McDonald’s, Sony/ATV, Formula 1 and the BBC.
Kerry works with professionals, both on a 1-2-1 and group basis. Over the years, she has helped hundreds of people overcome presentation challenges, such as building their professional brand, handling media hostility and presenting under pressure.
She has prepared company directors for the daunting task of facing Select Committee, and worked with spokespeople from the Airports Commission to explain controversial proposals to local communities. She has taught the executive teams at Bonnier Publishing how to get their message across at industry events. She recently worked with the British Fashion Council to help leaders and managers improve their leadership communication. Other projects have included helping Haymarket Publishing’s leadership team to present their strategic vision to the business. She has delivered media training to CEOs and company spokespeople of consumer brands Patak’s, Green & Black’s and Diageo.
Kerry is an inspirational and dynamic trainer, who is passionate about helping others succeed. As well as being accredited in Liberating Leadership, she is a licensed Insights Discovery® practitioner, a member of the Association for Coaching and is NLP trained.
