ABOUT THE TRAINING

We recently asked where you would most like support and a key theme that emerged from the group was client meetings. So we’ve built the next workshop around these needs.

This training is designed to improve your confidence around client presentations and meetings. You will come away feeling inspired and looking forward to your next video conference. The 90-min workshop will provide practical tips and techniques for preparation and delivery. You will learn how to communicate with gravitas and authority, even in the virtual setting.

Content covers:

  • Knowing how to prepare effectively

  • Understanding meeting rituals and your role

  • Opening and closing with professionalism

  • Bringing focus and energy

  • Considering your appearance and environment

  • Staying present and demonstrating active listening

  • Maintaining a strong physical presence

  • Dealing with imposter syndrome and limiting beliefs

JOINING INSTRUCTIONS

You will each be asked to give 2 x 30 second introductions to a client. For authenticity, you must first choose a real account. Imagine you are meeting the new marketing director for the first time…

  1. How would you explain what Greenhouse does, in the context of their business and the marketing director’s interests?

  2. How would you introduce yourself, including your role on the account and relevant experience, in a way that sounds authentic and conversational?

eBAY

ADVERTISING SOLUTIONS MANAGER

“That’s easily the best course I’ve been on in 9 years at eBay. A great combo of practical/applicable advice, and so well presented. Looked like there was a lot of work put into a custom course, and I thought it was totally worth it.”

FEDEX

SENIOR ENGINEER

“The workshop was ‘How to WOW!’ and she did just that. Aside from her perfect preparation for the course (she did her homework), she was able to turn a group of engineers into excellent presenters in 3 days! The course is fast paced, fun, informative, but most of all gives results.”
