PREPARATION
So that we can maximise the impact of the training, there is some prep to do beforehand. You will need to allocate an hour to do this properly. Bring your laptops with you to the training.
Part 1
Prepare a 3-min presentation (1-3 slides, maximum) of an idea or recommendation that you have already delivered or will need to deliver soon. Send it to Sarah, by Monday 1 July.
Part 2
Prepare a 2-min introduction to yourself and the company for a client, prospect or other stakeholder that you will be meeting soon. Consider any experience, projects and results that might be relevant to them and ensure your introduction is tailored to their needs, interests and motivators.
We will be looking out for:
-
the ability to talk freely around the content on the slides, drawing conclusions and sharing insights about what this recommendation will deliver
-
a sense that you are having a persuasive conversation, rather than reading from a script or list of bullet points
-
an authentic, engaging, natural delivery style
